The app absolutely supports ordering ahead! Tap the “Order Ahead” button on the main page of the app. Then, select your preferred pick-up location from the drop-down menu. As long as your “Location Services” are enabled for this app, the list of locations should be ordered by which locations are nearest to you! Please note you must select a location before you can click on “Begin Order” to view the menu and pick your items. Next, tap the “+” to begin your order.
Make sure to fill out all necessary fields for customization when adding an item to your order. If you miss a section, the application will display a message that says “Please fix the selection” and will highlight the item options you need to complete in red. Tapping “Go To” after seeing the error will also bring you to the selection you need to update.
Can I use credit/rewards on an Order Ahead order?
You can definitely redeem and earn rewards while placing an Order Ahead order via the app! Please be sure to read the promotional email you received regarding any rewards you're attempting to redeem as some may be for in-store orders only. When applying a credit or a reward to your order, you'll see the credit apply to your order balance on the final screen, just before checkout.
Where can I pick up an online order?
You can pick up your order in-store. Many locations will have a separate location in the store where you can pick up your order, skipping the line entirely!
I Received An Error Message When Ordering; Will I Be Charged?
We apologize for the technical issue that occurred. If you encountered an internet connection error or a prolonged “Still Checking” screen, your order will continue to be processed until the connection is re-made.
The order will only be canceled if the order fails. If that happens, you will receive an “Order Failed” screen. If you receive this “Order Failed” screen, the order did not complete and your card will not be charged.
I see my local Kung Fu Tea on the app, but I can’t create an order. Why?
Not all Kung Fu Tea locations offer the order ahead feature through the app at this time. Stay tuned, as more locations may join over time.
